I Cried, He Heard Me; He Is My Substitute

Crying for God's help

 "When you are not well, don't fail to hail for help. For me, I will not look at the below because the below is beneath, I will look at the above; for no way comes my help but from the Lord."

 Being an inspiration is not a matter of might but of mercy. God is so gracious to the world that all we should sing is "Grace! Grace!! Grace!!! Gracious is our God!." Though not all understand neither will, but the truth must be told: all have sinned. I can't stand seeing myself sin, why should I start hiding the truth while sinning the more?

 There isn't a space of liberty in sin, it's all about stagnation, lost, bondage, and being caged like a dog and controlled by the devil. I didn't really know much while I was in the cage and feeding like some dogs without knowing that I had a choice; infact I was totally ignorant.

 Being in a world like the sea of sin and swimming in pleasures and planting in darkness was all a mistake which keeps repeating itself. Though not all will be happy to hear, but I can't keep it away: I heard a story of a person who visited the world through a virgin. His birth was said to be supernatural as no mortal man planted the seed, He came by the Holy Ghost.

 That story didn't end there, it went further that He grew up and started teaching the word of God in the temple where professors were. I just wonder if He ever went to school at that time, well, He really amazed me while He amazed the professors. He made me understand that one thing man cannot give is one thing man needs most. I really thought I needed it, yes I do, but "I'm a sinner, will I ever get it?"

 Well, sometimes our problems give us a sense of inquisitiveness, so don't mind if I asked. It's my question and I may have to answer it myself. What surprised me most, wasn't when He did miracles but where He gave His life for mankind. Oh, He said that "It is finished" that my sins have been forgiven and paid for, by His blood. He said that I am free and free indeed, because He himself, set me free.

 This is true,

"1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

1 Peter 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

1 Peter 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him."

 Now I know that He took my place of sin, that I might take His place of righteousness: He made Himself my substitute. Oh, what manner of love had God bestowed upon mankind, that Jesus should die to save mankind through the washing away of our sins by His precious blood.

 Now I see, this Jesus Christ is the person: my Savior, my Redeemer, my Ransom, my Substitute. There is indeed no me without you Jesus!

 I cried for help, and you showed up to help me. Even when I rejected you many times, you kept coming around. You said that you won't leave me nor forsake me; that's true, cause you haven't left me since then. All I can say is thank you for helping me and please help others to know who you are to them.

 Thank you Jesus 🙏
