Is Marriage For Everyone?

 To be able to lookup "Should I Get Married?" Let us find out if marriage is for everyone.

 Also, in this section, "IS MARRIAGE FOR EVERYONE?" We will get answers to these questions, "Is marriage necessary?" And, "Is marriage compulsory?"

 While many people would recommend books to read concerning this, let me at this point reference the written word of God.

 "And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." (Genesis 2:21-24).

 Here we see that marriage was made for Man because of the woman that was made from Man.

 Therefore, marriage is necessary for a man. On the other hand, it is not compulsory for everyone.

 To further clarify this statement, did our Lord Jesus marry as a man while on Earth? Do you know that many people in the world died without getting married?

 Don't be surprised, Jesus Christ went to a marriage ceremony where He turned water into wine, but didn't compulse Himself to get married.

 Apostle Paul was never married, but accomplished a lot that only took God's grace.

 The same Apostle Paul made this statement,

 "I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." (1 Corinthians you 7:8-9).

Better To Marriage Than To Burn

 What does this mean to you? It means that getting married is preferred to living in the desire of the practices of marriage without satisfaction.

 It means you better get married than to live under the torture of sexual desires.

 Most times, this leads to sexually immoral practices which has increased enormously in today's world.

 Therefore comes the question, Should I Get Married?

 Think about this because it matters a lot as far a marriage is concerned.

You u can get married if you want.

Should I Get Married?

  Once upon a time, my mom told me about her presumption of my marriage life. Well, I told her not to talk about me getting married because that's not on my list for now.

 Also, I know of someone who contacted me severally about marriage. Do you know what? She asked me if I was married.

 How would you feel if you got such questions from a stranger? Leave the rest to rest.

 Marriage is not by force, and should not be divorced.

 If you want to get married, it's not a sin. Therefore, go ahead. But if you don't want to, it's better if you can stay with it!

 If you are still asking, Should I Get Married? Let me show you something.

 "There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

 So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better." (1 Corinthians you 7:34-38).

 I hope that someone has gotten his or her answers to the question, Should I Get Married?

 Meanwhile, have you noticed what marriage is pointing towards? Let me tell you!

Who Is Marriage About?

 It is pointing to (or is about) a Person and His people; Christ and the church.

 The union of Christ and the Church is a clear picture of true marriage (oneness).

 As the first woman was made from the Man, even so, the church is made from the Christ.

In Conclusion,

 Ephesians 5:23-27 says;

  "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

Also Remember;

  "Whoso  findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD." (Proverbs 18:22).

 Whether you get married or not, take heed to these things and don't let anyone compulsively trick you into any religious doctrines of compulsory marriage.
